Will my new social-events app survive in the market?

I've recently built this app called Likealike (available on App Store: https://appsto.re/us/XL3heb.i) that helps people meet new friends through unique events in New York City and now am testing it on the market. But, I'm not sure this idea is viable considering the lack of installs despite our social marketing efforts and costs of about $1000 for 3 weeks.
